Aircraft major maintenance in many cases is outsourced to companies in China, so perhaps many of these failures that are occurring to commercial airlines is due to subpar or just incorrect maintenance procedures. I know of many companies who send their large commercial aircraft to China for major maintenance and u[on their return they are buggy as hell for a few weeks until the issues are resolved.
